Each portrait is the result of a bigger experience. Meeting a person, drinking tea with them or listening to their story is part of the process of making the picture. I try to catch as much as possible of this experience in my picture. I am satisfied with a picture when it reflects the wonderful meeting I had with the people I photographed.
