The beauty of the mundane attracts and inspires me. When I walk around with my camera I do not have a structured plan. I often find myself wandering aimlessly through the backstreets of a village, when suddenly I am in a place that feels right, the right light, the right colour and the right atmosphere. At such a moment almost anything can become the subject of a picture. I look at the flow of lines, the intensity of colours, shapes and shades. Taking a picture is for me an intuitive process, in which I am often inspired by details. A washing line with clothes drying, tools, cutlery, a bicycle, dishes, anything can be beautiful.Beauty of day to day situations.
